Product details

Scutebata G is a natural product that has been shown to be cytotoxic against cancer cells in vitro. It is an analog of neoclerodane, which is a β-unsaturated fatty acid found in the seed oil of Scutellaria baicalensis. This compound can be used to inhibit the growth of human cancer cells, and may also have anti-inflammatory properties. Scutebata G was not cytotoxic against colon cancer cell line HT-29 when tested in vitro using a caco-2 assay.
