Oportuzumab monatox, also known as VB4-845, is a recombinant fusion protein comprising a humanized anti-EpCAM single-chain antibody linked to Pseudomonas exotoxin A (ETA (252-608)). Once bound to the cancer cell, OM is internalized and the toxin moiety released into the cytosol where it induces apoptosis.
